Deadly Severe Storms Rake the Area

Severe Thunderstoms caused damage, death and injuries this morning in the area.Authorities say one person was killed and three iinjured in the Arden area of Little River County in Southwest Arkansas as Severe Thunderstorms rolled through just prior to daybreak this morning.

Authorities say they are not sure whether it was a Tornado or simply straight line winds that caused the damage but investigators will be sent in to determine the nature of what caused the destruction.

At the time of the storms there was a Tornado Watch and a Severe Thunderstorm Warning, however there were no Tornado Warnings Issued.

The severe threat has now  left the area, but showers and thunderstorms and breezy, cooler conditions are following the in the wake of the passing cold front.
