Here's some news that will make a morning DJ's day. A new study in the New England Journal of Medicine suggests that drinking one or more cups of coffee per day may lower your risk of dying from chronic diseases such as diabetes or heart disease.

This new study is, by far, the biggest one of it's kind ever taken. The National Institutes of Health followed more than 400,000 healthy men and women between the ages of 50 and 71 for up to 13 years, during which 13 percent of the participants died.

The study showed that those who drank three or more cups of coffee per day had approximately a 10 percent lower risk of death. Lisa and I may live forever if this study is true!
