Drought Continues to Plague Arkansas

The Fire Danger in Arkansas has been elevated to extreme in 39 counties, and the wildfire risk remains severe in the remainder of the state.The fire risk in central, west and northwest Arkansas is now extreme, while the drought remains at severe levels in the South and Eastern parts of the state.

58 counties remain under a burn ban at this time.
