Dwight Yoakam had quite the scare recently. While on a flight with eight other people, the airplane started to smoke and had to make an emergency landing!

The pilot called in the emergency landing at Van Nuys Airport, close to Los Angeles, for an engine fire. The local fire department was waiting as the plane arrived, and what they saw didn't look good.

Thankfully, the Hawker 800 jet landed safely with all of the passengers and turned out to just be all smoke and no fire. Yoakam was on his way home from a private show in Canada when the incident occurred, according to TMZ.

Lucky for the singer and other passengers, everyone was okay and the plane was safe in the end.
