LoCash will help ring in the holidays at the 2018 national Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Washington, DC, set for Nov. 28 at the National Mall. During the event, the duo will perform three "upbeat" classic Christmas songs, according to Nash Country Daily. Additional performers for the ceremony have not yet been announced.

At a ceremony in Nashville, country group Alabama will be honored with the Tony Martell Lifetime Entertainment Achievement Award. Presented by the TJ Martell Foundation for Cancer Research, the award recognizes Alabama's staggering musical success, including selling more than 73 million albums worldwide. Alabama will receive the award at the Foundation's Nashville Honors Gala on Feb. 19, 2019.

Elvis Presley's iconic 1968 comeback performance on NBC-TV will be reissued as a double box set. Titled Elvis Presley — '68 Comeback Special, the box set will include restored video, studio outtakes and previously unreleased audio alongside a five-CD, two-Blu-Ray disc set and an 80-page book. The collection will debut on Nov. 30, and the performance will be re-broadcast on Dec. 3, 50 years after its original airing.

Because Jason Aldean is the most-streamed country artist on Pandora, the streaming service will host a live performance headlined by the man himself. According to a press release, the event will take place on Nov. 27 at Nashville's Marathon Music Works, and is free and open to the public. Steven Lee Olsen will open the show, for which fans can RSVP here.
