Win Tickets + Meet Greet Passes to See Eric Paslay at Shooters March 22
Kicker 102.5 is proud to present country newcomer Eric Paslay in concert at Shooters Saturday, March 22. We’re excited to kick off the first weekend of Spring with Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Eric Paslay.Born in Abilene, Texas and raised around the Waco/Temple, Texas area this fiery 6’4″ redhead has been steadily climbing the charts with his debut Top 10 single hit “Friday Night.” Paslay has already opened up for The Eli Young Band, Blake Shelton, Little Big Town, Jake Owen and many more. Now Eric will head out on the road soon on the “Let It Ride Tour” with Brantley Gilbert and Thomas Rhett. And we’re happy to say we’ve got em’ just before that tour starts up.
Paslay, who describes his music as hopeful, fun, upbeat and positive, is credited for writing the Jake Owen hit “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” and has written songs for Rascal Flatts and Lady Antebellum, just to name a few. As a matter of fact, Paslay has spent the last eight years writing songs and now has over 700 songs in his wheel house. He was influenced by the likes of Rodney Crowell, Johnny Cash, Dave Matthews Band and even listened to Southern rock growing up. Paslay says, he really like to connect with his audience when he’s on stage, whether it be about a story he tells or just interacting with the fans. Paslay loves to perform and said it best.
I’m not writing and singing this stuff to be cool. I was never the cool kid. I was the kid standing in the back of the room watching.”
That’s what separates Eric Paslay from all the other artists out there. A truly down-to-the-earth humble guy just happy to be doing what he loves the most, singing and songwriting.
EMI Records Nashville will release Eric Paslay’s self-titled debut album on Feb. 4, featuring 11 songs including the hit single, “Friday Night.”
Get your tickets starting Friday, Jan. 31.
