Elena Urioste

Elena Urioste is a BBC New Generation Artist and has been featured on the cover of Symphony magazine. She began her career at the age of thirteen when she appeared with the Philadelphia Orchestra. Since then, she's performed with orchestras all over the world, including the New York Philharmonic and the Boston Pops in the United States, the London Philharmonic Orchestra in England and the Orchestra Dohnányi Budafok in Hungary. She has also won numerous awards, including the inaugural Sphinx Medal of Excellence, London Music Masters Award, and first prize at the Sion International Violin Competition. A graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, Elena completed her graduate studies at The Juilliard School.

Texarkana Symphony Orchestra

Founded in 2006, the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra performs under the direction of Marc-André Bougie, a Montreal native who founded and directed the Orchestre des Sources, composed pieces like String-Quartet, and who conducted at Carnegie Hall. He currently is on faculty at Texarkana College and is the music director for Texarkana Symphony Orchestra, the Texarkana Regional Chorale and the Shreveport Chorale.
