It's time to Fall back to Standard (Normal) Time this coming weekend.

You will need to turn your clocks back one hour when going to bed Saturday night as we return to Standard Time and end Daylight Saving Time. The time actually changes at 2AM Sunday morning, but most people just move the clocks when going to bed.

This means you will get an extra hour of sleep. Following the return to Standard Time, it will get light an hour earlier in the mornings and dark an hour earlier in the evenings.

The rest of the country will join Arizona and Hawaii on Standard Time, since those two states do not move their clocks but stay on one time all year round.

The rest of us, will once again move the clocks again next March, when DST returns.

Once again, next year the Texas Legislature is expected to take up a bill that would eliminate DST.
