Using the crowdfunding website "GoFundMe," the family of Scott Roberts has raised a $10,000 cash reward, in addition to the CrimeStoppers award, for anyone who provides information that assists the Texarkana, Ark., Police Department in apprehending the suspect(s) responsible for Roberts' homicide. This reward includes anyone who has already contacted police formally or anonymously with any information who will assist in solving this case, according to police.

Texarkana Ark., detectives say they "continue to collect, review, and process information, leads, and forensic evidence that we believe will lead to the arrest of the individual(s) involved in the murder of Scott Roberts, who was shot and killed in his home at approximately 11AM on July 2, 2015, after returning from an out of town trip."

TAPD detectives have received assistance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation "in utilizing some of their advanced equipment in processing and analyzing information and evidence in this case."

Capt. Doug Avery, TAPD Criminal Investigation Division Commander said, this is a very complex case with a large number of leads that are being investigated by detectives.

"It continues to receive our highest priority with hundreds of investigative man hours and overtime being utilized."

Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact Texarkana Ark., Police at 903-798-3154 or the Texarkana area CrimeStoppers at 903-793-STOP. You can contribute to the Roberts family reward fund by going to https://www.gofundme.com/scottroberts.
