Over the river and through the woods to grandmother's house we go. Don't you wish life could be that simple?  For many Thanksgiving travelers over the river means flying over the river. But did you know that most people traveling this holiday weekend will be traveling by car instead?Not since 2007 have there been more Americans driving to their destination. In fact, 46.3 million Americans will journey more than 50 miles from home this year. The average person will travel 549 miles and the worst time to hit the road is 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday. According to ABC News Google Maps just released some new updates a month ago that should very helpful in planning your Thanksgiving getaway.

So, however you choose to travel this holiday, whether it be through the air or by car have a Happy and safe Thanksgiving!
