Family traditions are important, aren't they? In some families dad always carves the turkey for Thanksgiving right at the table in front of the whole family. In other traditions, some families will go out and cut a fresh Christmas tree every year, family vacations are considered by some to be a tradition, or eating at least one meal a week without any electronics at the table... then, there's us.

My son Tyler and I inadvertently started a tradition several years ago while attending The Taste of Texarkana called dad and Tyler's pic with the Hooters Girls! I just love traditions, don't you? We have only missed one since then and that was last years father and son shot. I know, very disappointing. We'll find out tomorrow night at the Four States Fair Entertainment Center from 5 -

Tomorrow night the tradition continues at the Four States Fair Entertainment Center from 5 - 8pm for the 2017 Taste of Texarkana to benefit Harvest Regional Food Bank.

Oh, by the way, our photographer each year has been my wife so don't go there. I know, we're weird.

I love the photo collage below, watching him grow up and me grow out! Ok, the second part is not that great.
