Former ‘American Idol’ Scotty McCreery Coming to Hot Springs June 27

Former American Idol star Scotty McCreery is coming to Hot Springs, Ark., will perform at Magic Springs this Saturday, June 27.This North Carolina product rocketed to stardom when he won season 10 of American Idol. His debut album On a Clear Day, released in 2011, went platinum and spawned two top 20 singles. McCreery is now on his third album See You Tonight in which the single of the same name made it into the top 10 on the country Billboard charts, the highest charting single of the singer's short career thus far. According to Taste of Country, McCreery is already working on a new album and should have a new single released very soon.

It's no secret that McCreery grew up singing in the church with his family in Garner, N.C. and pulls no punches when it comes his faith and Christianity. Fans have come to love his honesty and wholesomeness he projects on and off the stage. Scotty McCreery is participating  in the ACM Lifting Lives Camp with Hunter Hayes this week in Nashville. Recently, McCreery had the honor of singing with his friend and runner up of American Idol Lauren Alaina during the recent CMT Music Fest. They fast became a fan favorite whenever they sang together on American Idol.

In fact, rumors had started to surface that the two had become more than just friends. But I think most of it was just fan induced and wishful thinking. The two remain good friends today and support each others' careers as evidenced in this video below.
