Classic rock came to Texarkana this past Friday night (April 12) as Fran Cosmo, formerly of the band Boston, rocked the Perot Theatre with hit after hit of memorable Boston tunes.I felt like I was reliving my high school days as they rolled into "Long Time," "Peace of Mind," and "More Than a Feeling". By the looks of the enthusiastic crowd that was in attendance I think maybe they were doing the same thing. Many in the audience were dancing in the aisles and yelling and screaming as if to reminisce about those early rock concerts that many attended growing up including myself. Fran's son Anthony Cosmo (former guitarist of Boston) was by his dad's side on the electric guitar and definitely electrified the crowd with his phenomenal guitar playing.

Texarkana's own  'The Robert St John Band' opened the show and whipped the crowd into a frenzy with a trip down memory lane playing everything from Santana to Gerry Rafferty to an awesome version of Peter Frampton's "Do You Feel Like We Do". The band was celebrating their 30th Anniversary of playing together and certainly didn't miss a beat.
