Free Flu Shots Available Thursday, October 25 at Fairgrounds

It's that time of year again - when we start thinking about taking the necessary steps to prevent the flu this season.The Arkansas Department of Health - Miller County Unit will be offering FREE flu shots at the Four States Fairgrounds Thursday, Oct. 25 from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. There is no out of pocket expense to anyone regardless if you have insurance or not. Please bring your Medicaid, Medicare or any type of insurance cards if you have one. Flu shots will be administered from ages 6 months and older at no cost.

• Take advantage of the drive thru service where you can get your shot without leaving your car. Just make sure to wear short sleeves so the nurses can easily get to your upper arm.
