Garth Brooks, the top-earning country artist in the world, is finally making the trip down to Dallas again — for the first time in 17 years.

The megastar is currently on his first world tour in 13 years, aptly named the Garth Brooks World Tour, which will hit Dallas' American Airlines Center Sept. 18 and 19, with both shows at 7PM. Tickets will go on sale July 24, via Ticketmaster, but fans who miss grabbing some shouldn't fret, as it's likely the singer will add more showtimes and possibly dates as these sell out.

Brooks' most recent album, Man Against Machine, was released last November and has already been certified platinum by the RIAA. In the midst of it all, Brooks is also working on a Christmas album with wife and fellow star Trisha Yearwood, due out later this year.

Brooks’ comeback after stepping away from the spotlight to raise his family has been wildly successful and a step into the digital age for the artist, who previously did not allow his library to be released in such a format. In July 2014, Brooks announced he not only had signed on with Sony Music Nashville, but would release his songs digitally, for the first time, via his website. His single “People Loving People” debuted at No. 19 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart and was a Top 25 hit for Brooks on the Hot Country chart.

Forbes recently named the country icon the No. 6 highest-paid celebrity in their Celebrity 100 list — he made a whopping $90 million over the past year! The magazine noted Brooks been raking in at least $1 million per show on his tour, with several back-to-back dates in the same venues.
