Nobody could ever accuse Garth Brooks of not having fun onstage. On Saturday night (Nov. 12) during a show in Richmond, Va., Brooks and his band and crew took the "Mannequin Challenge."

Started in late October by some students at a Jacksonville, Fla., high school, the #MannequinChallenge requires participants to stay frozen in action -- in other words, they look like mannequins -- as someone films a video. Since the original video was shared, a number of professional athletes, musicians and other celebrities have taken part in the social media trend, and readers can press play above to watch Brooks' contribution to the phenomenon. As the person with the camera walks underneath the stage and onto the stage itself, everyone -- sound guys, a guitar tech, the onstage camera guy and Brooks and his band -- are as still as ... well, as mannequins, as the crowd roars.

Brooks is currently out on the road on his World Tour, with wife Trisha Yearwood along for the ride as his special guest at all shows. His only remaining 2016 tour stop is Greenville, S.C., but Brooks and Yearwood will also perform three unplugged concerts in Hawaii in December, as part of the 75th Commemoration of the Attack on Pearl Harbor. The singer has said previously that he will wrap up the North American leg of his trek, which began in Chicago, Ill., in 2014, next year, then look at touring overseas; currently, Brooks has only announced a stop in Cincinnati, Ohio, for 2017.

The newly crowned CMA Entertainer of the Year, Brooks released The Ultimate Collection, a new box set, on Friday (Nov. 11); the project includes nine discs of music from Brooks’ catalog, as well as some previously unreleased songs, and the 10th disc is be an exclusive version of Brooks’ new album, Gunslinger, featuring Target-only bonus tracks. Also on Nov. 11, Brooks and Yearwood released a holiday duets record, and Gunslinger is set for a wide release on Nov. 25.
