Garth Brooks got back in the saddle this year with his new world tour, and it’s definitely paying off. After being named the top-earning country artist of the past year by Forbes, Brooks has taken the cake for country touring revenue so far in 2015, according to Pollstar’s mid-year report.

The artist has earned a whopping $79.9 million just in the first half of the year, playing 74 shows thus far. He ranks at a very close second in the overall list, behind only rock gods the Rolling Stones, who brought in $80.7 million. Brooks, however, charged an average of 2.5 times less per ticket than the Stones.

Other country artists on the top 100 list included Kenny Chesney (No. 4 with $55.8 million), Taylor Swift (No. 8 with $35.6 million), Luke Bryan (No. 12 with $25.9 million), Eric Church (No. 15 with $24.4 million), Shania Twain (No. 25 with $17 million), Miranda Lambert (No. 28 with $26 million), Florida Georgia Line (No. 30 with $14.9 million), Jason Aldean (No. 35 with $14.3 million), and Brad Paisley (No. 48 with $10.2 million).

The Garth Brooks World Tour, his first in 13 years, began in the fall of 2014 and features wife Trisha Yearwood. It’s been pulling in more than $1 million per show, with many cities having several back-to-back shows. The yearlong endeavor lasts through September 2015 and coincides with the release of his latest record, Man Against Machine, which dropped in November. His comeback single, “People Loving People,” was a Top 25 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts.
