Kicker 102.5 is just tickled to congratulate 21 year old Randall Morris, the lucky (and talented) winner of the George Strait ‘Troubadour’ cover contest! Randall will fly out to Lubbock, Texas, to see Strait perform live on March 26. While he’s there, he’ll also have the opportunity to meet Strait backstage, and he’ll be getting a guitar signed by the country music superstar.

Randall tells tasteofcountry.com:

I grew up with music in my family, so when I turned 15, I picked up my first guitar,” an excited Morris says. “His song [Strait's 'Ocean Front Property'] was the first I ever learned. Ever since I started listening to music, he was pretty much the first thing that came on the radio.

To enter the contest, fans had to submit videos of themselves performing ‘Troubadour.” With the number of video submissions, it was truly difficult to choose a winner, but Morris won everybody over with his sincere, original rendition of the song. The Taste of Country staff loved them all. A HUGE thank you to all who participated.
