George Strait won the prestigious Entertainer of the Year Award at the 47th Annual CMA Awards in Nashville last night (11/6). It's a fitting award for a man who has given so much of his life to country music and it's fans. And with this upcoming year being his last concert tour of his career, it's seems somewhat bittersweet.Any country artist that was nominated for the same category shouldn't feel bad. I mean, if you are going to lose to someone might as well be George. In all respect to all the other artists in that category, they were just as deserving, but I think it's was George's time to win.

Now, I'm happy to say that King George is kicking off his final 2014 Cowboy Rides Away Tour at Centurylink Center in Bossier City, La. on January 9. George will bringing along fellow nominee and 2013 ACM Awards - Male Vocalist of the Year Jason Aldean to co-headline the show. I'm expecting this show to sellout fast, once tickets go on sale this Friday (11/8) at 10 a.m. at the Centurylink Box Office and online at ticketmaster.com. Tickets will also be available by calling 1-800-745-3000.

We just got word today (11/8) that George Strait is SOLD OUT for this show.
