Our thanks go out to Girl Scout Troop 2125 for stopping in this morning to tell us about their event tonight at Chicken Express in Wake Village.

Troop 2125 is trying to earn its Silver Award and in so doing must complete a 50-hour service project that makes a lasting impact on the community. The one they chose is a revitalization project at their Girl Scout campgrounds including trail cleanup and marking new GPS drawn maps, garden cleanup and handcrafted items, cabin cleanup and more.

Tonight, they need your help in raising money to finish these projects and thus earn their award. If you can, please stop by Chicken Express on 7th Street in Wake Village between 6-8PM, Monday, October 5. You can make a donation or a purchase.

A portion of the proceeds from each purchase goes to these hard-working young women of Troop 2125 to finish their project. Thanks for coming in this morning ladies, and good luck with your project.
