Good Grief Charlie Brown! Peanuts Gang Coming to the Big Screen [VIDEO/POLL]
You know growing up as a kid there was never a holiday that went by that you didn’t turn on the TV and see a Charlie Brown cartoon. You knew the holidays were here when all your favorite Peanuts characters were on the screen.Well, thanks to 20th Century Fox, Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, Snoopy and all the beloved Peanuts gang are coming to the big screen Nov. 25, 2015, the 65th anniversary of the comic’s debut and the 50th anniversary of its holiday classic TV special A Charlie Brown Christmas.
The feature movie is written in part by Craig Shultz, son of the late Peanuts creator Charles M. Shultz, and his son Byran. And just in case you forgot, Peanuts has been made into a feature film four times in the past. I remember seeing the movie A Boy Named Charlie Brown first back in 1969.
Steve Martino, who directed an Ice Age sequel and Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who will direct the new movie according to entertainment weekly.com.
I enjoyed all the Peanuts TV shows, but my two favorites have to be A Charlie Brown Christmas and It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.
I thought I would share some funny/cute/adorable animated GIFs in celebration of the anniversaries coming up.
