Good Grief Day June 20 Hosted by Hospice of Texarkana

Hospice of Texarkana located at 803 Spruce Street is proud to present Good Grief Day this Friday, June 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more than a decade Hospice has offered this 4 hour summer program that is designed to help kids age 7-15 who are grieving. No cost to attend and lunch is provided. The four hours includes pet therapy, art therapy and a Balloon Release activity at the end where the kids send a message “up to their loved one”.  Hospice strongly believes that this helps with the healing process. Any youth with a loss due to death, divorce, the deployment or incarceration of a loved one, or a move is welcome to attend.
