It may seem stereotypical, but it's all in good fun.

I grew up in California. Ron Burgundy jokes aside, it was a pretty fabulous place to live. Our home was situated in the mountains with the beach on one side and the desert on the other. The town that my school is in is very small. That town made me who I am.

That state says a lot about me as a result.

Good Housekeeping says I'm a champ when it comes to earthquakes and don't get scared unless they measure over a 5.0 on the Richter Scale and that "seasonal produce" is an anomaly. This is a part of their article, "What the State You Grew Up in Says About You."

For those who grew up in the state of Arkansas, there is a strong love for float trips. In fact, they're better than a day at the beach. Also, a rotary tiller or outhouse race doesn't cause you to pause. In addition, you grew up knowing hot to "call those Hogs."

Did they get it right?
