Hitting The Snooze Button is Bad For You? [POLL]
Do you hit the snooze button? I do and I hit the snooze button every morning! A new study says it’s not a good thing to do. The study showed that six out of ten employed Americans hit the little button at least once a week. Once a week? Now, I find that funny!
I hit that silly button at least twice every morning, because I set my alarm early and my clock is 10 minutes fast as well.
The study shows that 50% of us snooze button hitters sometimes miss breakfast (um, okay I never eat breakfast). And 40% said it makes them skip a morning workout (um, once again, I don’t work out in the morning. Oh, and the big one 25% say it causes them to miss quality morning time with their family. Okay, I get up too early as it is and my husband is fast asleep! Yep, looks like I’ve been able to rationalize all the “negative effects”.
Studies in the past have shown that those extra 10 minutes have no effect on if you feel more rested or not. But, I think it does make me feel better. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
