Have you heard about this?  In a ruling last week, the high court in Ontario, Canada found most of the nation’s laws that govern prostitution is unconstitutional. The Canadian parliament now has a year to amend the criminal code and the final result could result in some type of  broad legalization of prostitution by our neighbor to the north.

According to a poll of 1,004 Canadians by Ipsos, the majority would be OK with this happening.

Twenty-one percent of the people polled said that they strongly agreed prostitution within brothels should be legal, and 44 percent said they somewhat agreed.

On the flip side, 20 percent said they strongly disagreed with the court’s decision and 15 percent somewhat disagreed.
