Horses Recovered From Area Pasture Suspect Arrested

Two horses are dead and four more have been awrded to the Bowie County Sheriffs Department after the six were found in an emaciated condition near DeKalb off of Highway 82.Authorities were alerted to the situation earlier this month and a Sheriff's deputy conducted the investigation. 33 year old Terri Danielle Johnson has been arrested and charged with cruelty to livestock animals which is a class A misdemeaner.

The four remaining horses will be adopted out by the Bowie County Sheriff's office to a good home.
