Who says resolutions and goals are only reserved for January?

I love the first day of a new month. Especially the first day of June. Something about beginning a new season on top of a new month, it just feels hopeful. So, I'm grabbing life by the horns and using this June 1 as a chance to start fresh. We get too tied up in making New Year's resolutions that can either flourish or fail by the time we reach the middle of the year. Heck, most "goal-oriented books" are meant for January starts. Boring!

Seems like we're setting ourselves up for lots of frustration.

Instead, let's look at this next month. The next 30 days. What do you want to do? How do you want to spend that time? For me, I'm ready to shed my "perfectionist" ways. Now, I don't swear by horoscopes but do enjoy reading the. This month it says I put too much emphasis on being a 10 all the time. It can be crippling and I'm sure many of you can relate. My goal this month is to just roll with the punches and be me.

I guess part of that means sharing more of me with you. I'm not perfect, but I try to be on the radio. I also have dreams and goals that I'm striving for just like you. What keeps me on track? PowerSheets. This was a gift from one of my best friends this year. She didn't give it to me at the beginning of the year, but rather when she felt I needed it. It's called Cultivate What Matters and it's been my latest love affair. It's been making me dive into parts of me I'm not comfortable with, but in a way that's not so scary.

PowerSheets or not, how do you want to use your June? I guarantee that little (or big) things that you do this month will further mold the clay that is your future.
