This fun-filled competition is open to ages 13 - 18 years of age who want to take the crown as Junior Queen of the Pageant. According to James Zumwalt, guys competing will be asked to decorate a box with a picture of themselves to be placed on a table at the entrance of the pageant. It is set up to where people can vote by making a donation of their choice to their favorite contestant.
The contestant raising the largest amount of donations will win People’s Choice Award.
Half of the proceeds raised from this category will be presented to the fire department of their choosing. Entry fee $20 Gate fee $2 and the deadline to enter is July 15. Surrounding counties are encouraged to participate as well.
