Improvements to be Made Around Rotary Splash Pad

The City of Texarkana Texas Parks and Recreation Department says the Splash Pad at Spring Lake Park will be closed for around four days next week.The closure will allow for some improvements to be made at the site. Crews will be adding more concrete area around the pad to resolve a mud issue. The Splash Pad has been an overwhelming success and the city hopes these improvements will make it even more enjoyable for visitors who use the facility.

The Splash Pad will be shut down on Monday June 10th and likely re-open on Friday June 14th after the work is complete. The pad is free and normally open seven days a week from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
