It Was a Hot But Good Summer

It was entirely too hot again this summer, even though it was not as bad as last year. But all in all it was a good time for my family and I.We were busy with lots of fun activities. My son's baseball team played into mid July finishing 2nd in the District Tournament and bringing home trophies. David particularly had a lot to do, with a Writers Camp, Cub Scout Camp, Church Camp & baseball.

There was also several trips to Splash Kingdom Water Park in Canton, Texas and a trip to coast for some beach time.

Also an almost daily swim in the pool and of course staying up late and watching old TV shows and movies on Netflix.

I want miss the heat, but I will miss the carefree days and nights. Another summer of building lots of memories and fun times with the kids is gone but will be back in just 8 months.
