Casinos could be coming to Arkansas.  Attorney General Dustin McDaniel has approved the wording of a proposed consitutional amendment to allow casinos to be built in seven Arkansas counties clearing the way for supporters to gather signatures.

The amendment would allow for casinos in Boone, Crittenden, Garland, Jefferson, Miller, Pulaski and Sebastien Counties.

Today is the 36th annual Great American Smokeout promoted by the American Cancer Society. Recently smoke free President Barack Obama recorded a video saying the country has made progress in reducing the number of American who smoke but note that 46 million are still addicted.

The President says he quit smoking by chewing nicotine gum. He concedes quitting smoking is hard and adds, "Believe me, I know."
