J.W.’s News Update: Wednesday July 20, 2011
Good Wednesday, Here are some stories making headlines today:
The reward for information leading to an arrest in a triple homocide has been increased again. Authorities and the community are offering up a total of almost $145,000 dollars in connection with the murder of a mother and her two young children in Bowie County Texas.
The three were killed and their home burned to the ground earlier this year and authorities are continuing to investigate and look for clues.
Texarkana Arkansas Police say the name of a man found deceased in the 5100 block of Crossroads Parkway is 60 year old Mark Davis. Davis’s body was found several days ago in an undeveloped partially wooded area.
Authorities say there were injuries to the body and an autopsy is pending in Little Rock. If you have any information on this you are asked to call detectives at (903) 798-3154 or Texarkana Area Crimestoppers at (903) 793-stop.
The Texas Rangers winning ways continue. The Rangers shut out the LA Angels 7-0 yesterday to extend their winning streak to 12 games and to open up at 5 game lead over the 2nd place Angels.
