Jake Owen Will Be Road Tripping on a Vintage ’66 Volkswagen Bus to Promote New Single

If it sounds crazy, it's got Jake Owen written all over it.

Brownie points for spontaneity! Fresh off releasing a new single, "American Country Love Song," Jake Owen is hopping on a '66 Volkswagen bus and hitting the road. He made the announcement on Periscope and then later posted the video on his Facebook page.

The goal? To spread love.

The idea is admirable and the "Love Bus" hit the road on Saturday. The bus already has its own Instagram page which has garnered almost 10,000 followers. He'll be traveling from Nashville to Key West stopping in various cities. But don't be looking for Jake Owen at any of your favorite venues. No, no.

He's playing his shows in the bus.

That's right. You'll get to climb on board the Love Bus and have Jake play some new songs for you. Unfortunately, it doesn't sound like that bus is built for cross-country trips. Guess we'll have to catch him on the next run.
