Jason Aldean is getting ready for the Grammys tomorrow night!  It's his first Grammys and he's up for three awards! Not only that, he will be performing Don't You Wanna Stay with Kelly Clarkson.   Jason is  nominated in three of the country categories: Best Country Solo Performance for ‘Dirt Road Anthem,’ Best Country Duo/Group Performance for ‘Don’t You Wanna Stay’ (with Kelly Clarkson) and Album of the Year for ‘My Kinda Party.’

Good luck Jason!! I've got my fingers crossed for you!!! Ha! And he does too!

“I’ve got my fingers, toes … everything crossed, going to the Grammys this year,” Aldean tells Taste of Country with laughter. “I’m excited. For an artist or anybody in the music business, I don’t know that it gets any bigger than that for us. To not only perform on the show, but to be up for three awards … it’s a pretty good feeling. I think every artist kind of hopes to have that Grammy award winner tag in front of their name, whenever they’re being mentioned for anything. That’s obviously a huge honor. I’m looking forward to it. It’s going to be a fun night.”

“You’re going to have [guys there like Bruce] Springsteen, Paul McCartney and Foo Fighters,” says Aldean. “Getting to see acts like that, that I really haven’t seen perform live before, is part of the coolness about being able to go to some of that stuff. I’m just looking forward to that part of it.”

So if Aldean does in fact walk home a winner in one of the three categories he’s nominated in, how will he celebrate? “I’ve got somewhat of an early flight the next morning, so I may have to keep my celebrating in check until I get back home,” he says with a smile. “But a lot of my team will be out there, so that’s easier said than done. I imagine if we do happen to win one, it will be a very long day the next day for me flying home!”

The Grammys are on tomorrow night on CBS starting at 7p.m.
