Jennifer Nettles doesn't think college kids should do something she did in college.

For many, college is the best time of their life. I know that I loved my college days. I'm wiling to bet Jennifer Nettles would say the same thing. In a recent interview with The Bert Show, Jennifer talked about the chances she took writing her new album Playing with Fire.

It reminded her of the risks she took in her life.

One of those was in college when she hitchhiked through Central America with two of her friends. One thing she made clear was that that was a long time ago. Now, the 90s is not a century ago, but it is long enough ago to be appropriate for three women to hitchhiked through a hemisphere.

"Kids, don't do it now because it's way different. I've done things like that which were risky, but I'm not stupid."

I would have to agree that a trip like that is completely out of the question. If I had a kid in college right now, I would forbid them from going.
