It's all the latest rave across the nation, the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS Lou Gehrig's Disease which is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain. According to the Boston Globe, The ALS Association has received $2.3 million in donations, compared with $25,000 during the same time last year. With local chapters included, the nonprofit organization has received $4 million, compared with $1.1 million last year. Every day people from our local communities have gotten doused including celebrities, athletes, even country stars.

Justin Moore took the Ice Bucket Challenge this week from the backyard of his home in Arkansas while his daughters watched.
