Lauren Alaina has released the music video for her single "Doin' Fine." While the song's prominent banjo suggests traditional country, the look of the video itself is a glimpse into Alaina's edgier and more glamorous side.

Alaina wrote "Doin' Fine" about her own life and has been brutally honest about her topsy-turvy family life. “Daddy got sober / Mama got his best friend / But I am doin' fine,” Alaina sings in the midst of a downpour in the song's accompanying music video.

Shot in a darkened studio, the "Doin' Fine" music video finds Alaina sharing her mixed emotions under less-than-ideal circumstances, which captures the theme of the song pretty well. In addition to the pouring rain, the video puts Alaina in glamorous clothing and beneath a strobe-like flashing light.

"Doin' Fine" is only one of the autobiographical songs on Alaina's latest album, Road Less Traveledwhich came out in January of this year. The American Idol Season 10 runner-up is enjoying the success of her first No. 1 hit, the title track to her album, as well as a nomination for New Artist of the Year at the 2017 CMA Awards.

Road Less Traveled is available for download on iTunes and Amazon. Check Alaina's website for a current tour schedule.
