[UPDATE] – Leary City Water Safe to Drink: NEWS

As of 5:00 p.m. Thursday evening City officials canceled the ‘boil water’ alert for Leary City, TX water customers. Due to the loss of water pressure during the power outage on Christmas day, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality had required that the City of Leary, TX notify their customers of the need to boil their water prior to consumption. That boil alert has now been lifted after officials showed that all steps had been taken and testing proved the water is safe to consume once again.
