It was announced today that Curb Records recording artist Lee Brice has been nominated for the 2011 CMT Music Awards’ USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year. The video for Brice’s hit single, “Love Like Crazy” has earned him the nomination.

“I’ve been watching CMT since we got it in my hometown so I was excited when I heard the news. A video is so important to a song in terms of feeling. I’m so glad that Eric Welch nailed the lyric content of the song but really knows artistically who I am as well,” explains Brice, “The other nominees are not only talented artists but also my friends so it should be a lot of fun.”

“Love Like Crazy,” the first single from Brice’s 2010 debut album, reached the top 5 on the charts and has had record-breaking success. It was named Billboard’s Most Played Song of 2010 and was nominated for both Single and Song of the Year at this year’s 46th Annual ACM Awards.

The 2011 CMT Music Awards will air live from Nashville on June 8th on CMT and CMT.com.

Fans can catch Brice out on the road performing the hit song on the 2011 Country Throwdown Tour which kicks off May 27 in Philadelphia, PA. For a complete tour schedule and all the latest Lee Brice news, please visit www.leebrice.com.
