Liberty-Eylau Set To Hire New Superintendent

The Liberty-Eylau School board meets tonight at 6:30.The board expected to name a lone finalist for the job of superintendent for the district in Texarkana. The search has been on for quite sometime after current leader Nick Blain indicated his desire to retire at the end of December.

This will be the second retirement for Blain who was longtime superintendent the first time around and came back to help the district when they were in need. The lone finalist selected should be on the job by the end of the year.
