Local Talent Wins Big in ‘East Texas Music Awards’ [VIDEO]

The Annual "East Texas Music Awards" were held Thursday night at the KE Bushmans Entertainment Center in Bullard, Texas. Some of our locals were the big winners of the night.

There were 845 nominees across many genres, 145 finalists, and only 31 winners of the 2013 East Texas Music Awards. Among the winners were some of the best in the industry that just so happen to call Texarkana, home.

Our friends, hands down best audio folks in Texarkana, Frank Pryor and Chip Bricker from S.M.A.R.T. Studios both walked away with huge awards... Frank Pryor - Producer of the Year 2013, and Chip Bricker - Best Keyboard Player 2013.

Entertainer of the Year 2013 - The Tyler Lenius Band (Winnsboro, TX.)

Male Vocalist of the Year 2013 - Jason Helms,  and  2013 Country Band of the Year - The Jason Helms Band.

Christian Artist of the Year 2013 - Kindred (Lufkin, TX.)

2013 Blues Band of the Year, and 2013 Guitarist of the Year - Wes Jeans and Wes Jeans Band. (Marshall, TX.)

Fiddler of the year for 2013 - Lacie Carpenter of Lacie Carpenter & The Southern String Line. (Tyler, TX.)
