Everyone's got to grow up some time, but Luke Bryan's not going quietly.

The 38-year-old superstar recently announced the upcoming release of the final installment in a series of annual spring break EPs.

"Last year we started talking about it, and we thought last year was probably going to be the last year," Bryan tells a group of reporters. "But when we got down there and there was like, 200,000 people going crazy on the beach ... and then we realized if we do one more EP and then put them together, we can do one more physical album. We can make it an even more fun event."

Spring Break … Checkin’ Out is set for release in March. The 11-song project features five new tracks, as well as all six songs from last year’s spring break EP. Walmart will also offer an exclusive edition of all of Bryan’s spring break releases. Spring Break … The Set List: The Complete Spring Break Collection ZinePak will include a two-disc set with all 25 songs, plus a 48-page magazine with exclusive interviews and photos from each of the previous spring break releases, as well as the five new songs from this year.

Bryan will perform two final spring break beach concerts at Spinnaker Beach Club in Panama City Beach on March 11-12.

"I have been jokingly saying that it has been pretty nice to continue spring break well into my 30s," he says. "I feel like I've done a lot better than my other buddies, because they certainly haven't been going to spring break and partying with a bunch of college kids. It's been amazing to go down there and do the spring break shows ever year, and get inspiration for new songs and new tours."

The singer admits he's going to miss the annual tradition.

"It's always been one of the highlights of my year, just going down there and doing the show," he shares. "It's hard to turn down that much fun, and it gives me sadness to have to let it go."

Still, he felt it was the right time to go out on a high note.

"I think at some point it's obvious that there was a shelf life with me and spring break," Bryan reflects. "My time is more limited with just so many things that are happening in my life on a personal level. But it's gonna be nice to just focus on full albums and write for them, and just draw from all those years at spring break to continue the party atmosphere that's always shown up in my music. That'll always be there. We still love having a good time."
