Superstar Luke Bryan plans to celebrate Valentine's Day in style.

The singer-songwriter will serve as the Grand Marshal of the Krewe of the Endymion Mardi Gras Parade in New Orleans this weekend. Thousands of attendees will line the streets to watch the festive parade. This year's theme is 'Fantastic Voyages,' and it will feature floats based on 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Project Apollo, Journey to the Center of the Earth and several others. Later in the evening, Bryan will perform some of his biggest songs at a concert.

“The biggest challenge of that day is obviously being Grand Marshal of the Parade," Bryan says (quote via Universal Music Group). "

Once you're on the float, you're on the float. And then I’m like, ‘Alright, don’t get drunk. Don’t get drunk. Don’t get drunk.’ And I don’t know if there’s any way around that, and then I’ve got to do the show at like 11:30PM, so man, we may have a no cell phone clause on that show, a no Youtube (video)," he jokes. "See, first of all, I’ve never been to Mardi Gras, and I’m the worst about getting excited about something and then overdoing it. So, yeah, I’ll be toast.”

Thankfully, Bryan's wife Caroline will be in attendance, so they'll be able to celebrate Valentine's Day together. The pair were college sweethearts, and they wed in 2006.

Bryan is currently making the rounds for his Kick The Dust Up tour.
