This Friday, November 4, get ready for a great night of entertainment from singer-songwriters Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen at the historic Perot Theatre at 7:30PM.

Lyle Lovett began his career as a songwriter and signed a record deal in 1986 with MCA Records releasing his debut country album. Lovett's style often incorporated traditional Country with Folk, Swing, Blues, Jazz, and even Gospel in what became his signature sound. He is the winner of four Grammy Awards including Best Country Album in 1996, Best Country Duo/Group with Vocal in 1994, Best Pop Vocal Collaboration in 1994 and Best Country Male Vocal in 1989.

Robert Earl Keen, who hails from the Texas hill country, has been entertaining crowds for years in the Texas dance halls, honky-tonks, and festivals all around the country. In 1984 Keen released his debut album No Kinda Dancer and has recorded 18-full length albums for both independent and major record labels. This Houston native has had songs covered  by several country music artist through the years including George Strait, Dixie Chicks, Joe Ely, and yes, Lyle Lovett.

Keen has long been associated throughout the Lone Star state as the most popular acclaimed musical ambassador that led him to be inducted into the Texas Heritage Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2012 with Lyle Lovett and the late Townes Van Zandt. Keen has just released a new single "Shades of Gray" a song that originally appeared on the 1997 release Picnic. The song will be available on Spotify and iTunes. The new release is from his forthcoming album Live Dinner Reunion which comes out Nov. 18, 2016.
