Think about this the next time you're "too busy" to attend something your kids are doing.

I've got to hand it to parents who sacrifice so much to provide for their families. Like Robert Kee who works for the State Department in Afghanistan. I can imagine that he misses a lot of events in the lives of his family because of his job commitments. His family lives in Fairfax, Virginia and his son Trey Kee was about to be in his first school play. He was set to play Mufasas in "The Lion King." This is an important and regal role.

Which is why it was even more important to see his father standing in the back row .

According to Fox 5 DC, Robert pulled a few strings and was able to fly in for the weekend for the play. After the show, Trey was asked to talk to the crowd about the theme of family in the play. It was then that he saw his father.

It was such a big surprise that even Robert's wife and daughter had no idea that it was happening.
