Maren Morris Undergoes Surgery, Will Be Out for a Few Weeks

Here's to a speedy recovery!

Maren Morris won't be performing for a few weeks this month due to a recent procedure. She had what we all dread... her tonsils removed. Now, I've never had to do this kind of procedure, but I did have my wisdom teeth taken out and that was brutal. I was sick for days after being put under. Yuck!

She posted a photo of an empty hospital bed yesterday on Instagram. The caption was a simple hashtag, "#NoFilter #Tonsillectomy."

It appears that she was able to sneak the procedure in between some shows and even give herself a few weeks to recover. According to her website, she isn't scheduled to perform again until May 21 at the Grand Ole Opry.

We hope she recovers quickly and without any hiccups because that is a show you never want to miss.
