Mario’s Weekend Movie Roundup – Dark Shadows Gets Re-“Vamped” [VIDEO]

There’s only one movie you need to worry about seeing this weekend in Texarkana  and it's a re-make of an old television show ‘Dark Shadows.’ This one of course is a re-VAMPED version from Tim Burton.

Johnny Depp revises the role of cursed vampire Barnaby Collins, originally portrayed by Jonathan Frid. After a jealous witch (Angelique Bouchard) casts a spell on Collins and imprisons him inside a coffin, he awakens centuries later to find that his family’s once-grand estate is in shambles. It will be interesting to see how close they keep it to the original television show which if I remember was basically a daytime soap opera.
