Now that the school season is back in session the summer season of movies is officially done. However, there are 3 new movies to choose from this weekend in theaters.

Mile 22 (R)

If you want lots of action, (Mark Wahlberg) plays James Silva an operative for the CIA who's team must help Silva retrieve and transport a valuable asset that contains life-threatning information, according to the website.

Alpha (PG-13)

If you love adventure and the great outdoors this movie might be for you. The movie takes place 20,000 years ago when a young man goes on his first hunting trip with elite members of his tribe who decide to leave him behind after he becomes injured. The boy finds a wolf separated from its pack and together they form a bond that helps him overcome the dangerous rugged wilderness and obstacles along the way, to find his way back home before the harsh winter arrives.

Crazy Rich Asains (PG-13)

If you're looking for romance this weekend "Crazy Rich Asians" just might be what the doctor ordered. Rachel Chu travels to Singapore with her longtime boyfriend Nick to attend his best friend's wedding. What she learns is that Nick's family is very rich and he's considered one of the country's most eligible bachelors. Rachel has to learn how to deal with jealous women, crazy relatives and an overbearing mother who believes she is not good enough for her son.

I'm a big fan of Mark Wahlberg so I have to go with Mile 22 this weekend. So grab the popcorn and I'll see you at the movies!
