Mario’s Weekend Movie Roundup for Aug. 31
August is usually not a very hot month when it comes to new movie releases. With school, football, and the end of summer, there's sort of a lull period at the box office. This Labor Day weekend is no exception, however there are two new movies to choose from and one is an Oscar contender.
An ex-con and his adopted teenage brother are on the run from a criminal out for revenge and some unruly soldiers who want what they have a mysterious weapon. This action sci-fi thriller stars Jack Reynor, Dennis Quaid, and James Franco.
Agent Peter Malkin finds himself playing a deadly game of cat and mouse with a notorious war criminal Adolf Eichnann, a Nazi officer fifteen years after the end of World War II. This movie is based on an incredible true story, that stars Academy Award Winner Ben Kingsley and Golden Globe Winner Oscar Isaac.
