Mario’s Weekend Movie Roundup for Jan. 4

The first official weekend of the new year has only one new movie to choose from. "Escape Room" is in theaters and promises lots of chills and thrills.

Escape Room (R)

This movie is about a group of teens who gather at a mysterious building to compete in a game in an Escape Room for a chance to win one million dollars. What they don't know is the game turns deadly because of a deranged killer reminiscent of SAW who devised this room so that no one could escape without deadly consequences. With all kinds of booby traps these teens must find a way to survive, escape or be killed.

Not going to waste my time on this one. Haven't seen "Aquaman" yet so that's my choice this weekend.
